Import your catalogue

Load your products from any Excel or CSV export — Silwane® Pharma / Intellix, another package, or a file you prepared by hand.

The general import accepts an Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV file with one row per product. You will find it in Settings, under "Import Catalog".

Which software this covers

This route is fully configurable, so it works with whatever your software produces rather than expecting a fixed layout. Use it for:

  • Silwane® Pharma / Intellix exports
  • Any other pharmacy package that can export to Excel or CSV
  • A spreadsheet you built by hand

EasyPharm is the exception: it exports several separate tables that have to be joined together, so it has its own dedicated import rather than going through this one.

Column mapping

The wizard reads your file headers and proposes a mapping. You can correct all of it before a single row is written.

  • Product name: the only genuinely required field
  • Type: medicine or parapharmacy
  • VAT and CNAS id: yes / no flags
  • Family and sub-family: created automatically from the values in your file

Import modes

  • Update: existing products are updated, new ones added
  • Add only: products already present are left untouched
  • Replace: the catalogue is emptied and reloaded

Replace also removes missing-product entries your team has already captured, because they reference the product records. Keep it for a genuine full reload.

Unmapped columns

A column you do not map is left alone on existing products rather than cleared. So a partial file can be imported without losing information already in place.

Barcodes

Barcodes can be imported in the same file or a separate one, matched to products by name or by a product code.
